Real Estate License
Tuesday June 24, 2003
From the About Phoenix Inbox: "I currently live in Los Angeles, California. My fiancé and I are planning to relocate to AZ in the next few months. I want to pursue a career in real estate and I am wondering what can I do now to get started. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I have a BA, and no prior real estate education. How do I obtain a license to work in AZ? Can I take any classes in CA that would transfer to AZ? Can I take any of these classes on-line in CA?" Well, there are already about a gazillion realtors in Phoenix, but I suppose there's room for one more! Here's a "How To" that should help you figure out what you need to do to obtain a Real Estate License in Arizona. There you can find a link to the accredited schools that offer distance learning, so you can prepare for the exams before you get to Arizona. Good luck!

To the person that is moving from California to AZ and looking to pursue a career in Real Estate. My company is looking to hire on more Realtors. I can put you in touch with the Managing Broker in Arizona and she could let you know all the info you would need to get started. She would be able to answer any and all of your questions as well. As soon as you get your license you could hang under my broker. We have an amazing commission split for our agents. (80% goes to the agents!) Let me know if you want to get in touch with her.
