There's a very popular television show called Medium about a woman, her husband, and their three children. The woman in the program works for the Phoenix District Attorney's office, helping them to solve crimes using her psychic abilities. It is based very closely on the real life of Allison DuBois, who lives in Phoenix. Before the TV show went on the air, Ms. DuBois wrote a book about what it's like to be a medium and a profiler.
