Glendale Community Pools

The weather is heating up and Glendale’s pools are cool places to beat the heat. Five pools are open during the summer for adults and children to enjoy open swim.

In 2005 the hours of the Glenale, AZ community pools are as follows:

1 – 4 p.m., Monday – Saturday at
Cactus Pool, Cactus High School, 15500 N. 63rd Ave.
Cardinal Pool, Glendale High School, 6350 W. Glendale Ave.
Community Pool, Glendale Community College, 6000 W. Olive Ave.

1 – 5 p.m., every day, and 6 – 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, at
Ironwood Pool, Ironwood High School, 12603 N. 61st Ave.

1 – 5 p.m., every day, and 7:20 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 6 – 8:30 p.m., Sunday at
O’Neil Pool, 6448 W. Missouri Ave.

Afternoon entrance is 50˘ for ages 3-19 and $1 for Glendale adults or $1.25 for non-resident adults. Evening entrance is 25˘ for ages 3-19 and 50˘ for Glendale adults or 75˘ for non-resident adults. Ages 2 and under are always free. Tuesday evening entrance is free to all Glendale residents. Fridays are free from 1-4 p.m. at Cardinal Pool and 1 –5 p.m. at O’Neil pool, June 10 – July 29, for Glendale youth ages 18 and under.
