What will happen: adoptions, information and activities for pet seekers and pet owners.
In partnership with dozens of animal rescue organizations throughout Maricopa County, Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project is hosting the fair to introduce potential and current pet owners in the west valley to animal-related resources in their area. Dozens of pet friendly businesses and animal rescue organizations will be available to answer pet-related questions, provide resources and connect people with a new furry friend.
All of the dogs and cats adopted at the fair will be spayed/neutered and licensed and will go to their new homes with leashes or cat carriers and one month of pet insurance. Adoption fees vary by organization. Microchipping will be offered by the Sun Valley Animal Shelter for $20 per pet.
Additionally, a variety of pet services and product vendors will offer giveaways, raffles, coupons and information. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their pets to the West Valley Pet Adoption Fair to enjoy the day’s activities and hopefully take home a new member of the family.
