Phoenix Friday Cool Spot: Scottsdale ArtWalk

OK, you can't do it this weekend. But you can do it on Thursday. OK, it isn't air-conditioned or in water. But it is in the evening when the heat is less of an issue than in the daytime. What is it? The Scottsdale ArtWalk takes place every Thursday evening in the Scottsdale art galleries district of downtown Scottsdale. Next Thursday, July 6, 2006, is a special Scottsdale ArtWalk--it's the annual Summer Spectacular ArtWalk. There will be entertainment, free food and drink samples, artists demonstrations, and gallery show openings. How much to attend? Not a cent. There aren't many opportunities in mid-summer around here to get outside and get some fresh air. Don't miss it!
