Killer Bees Strike

Tuesday August 22, 2006
Not in Phoenix, but elsewhere in Arizona a man died after being stung more than 300 times by killer bees. It is unclear from the information provided whether or not he was allergic to bee stings. There are few fatalities from killer bees in Arizona, and this doesn't mean that everyone should panic every time a bee is sighted on a cactus bloom. It means that you should become familiar with issues surrounding killer bees, and what you should do if you are stung.

It’s better for the health authorities to keep this dangerous bees in check before theyv start to spread to other locations. It is known that these bees can migrate and build nests from as far away as Brazil. They can also populate very rapidly and are very hard to contain. It is important that this problem should be addressed before it worsens.
