Big Holiday Weekend in Phoenix
Last weekend, at the opening of the holiday season, we saw the Glendale Glitters Spectacular, APS Fiesta of Light Candyland Concert in Phoenix and Fantasy of Lights Parade in Tempe. If you missed all that action, this coming weekend has plenty more in store to get you in the holiday-egg-nog-photo-with-Santa-wear-a-dopey-looking-red-furry-hat kind of mood.
On Friday night, December 1, 2006 Peoria's Oldtown Holiday Festival will be a great place to take the family. Get plenty of rest on Saturday afternoon, because no Christmas season really begins in this town before the APS Electric Light Parade takes place. The theme for Saturday's 2006 parade is “Southwest Holiday Traditions.” If you aren't going to the parade, head over to Scottsdale for Holiday Harmony or to Chandler for the Parade of Lights and Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Festival.
Whew! I'm already exhausted!
