Monarch Butterflies in Phoenix

Wednesday October 10, 2007

I visit the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix at least once every year, and this year the Mariposa Monarca, or Monarch Butterfly, beckoned. I have been to the springtime butterfly exhibit, where there are several varieties of butterflies in the Marshall Butterfly Pavilion, but this was my first expedition to see and learn about the Monarchs. Theirs is an interesting story, and I share it with you, along with ten tips for visiting the exhibit, in the photo tour. Enjoy!
