Arizona State Fair

Thursday October 11, 2007
If you have been to every Arizona State Fair, then not only are you a devoted fan of the event -- you're pretty old! The Arizona State Fair has a history going back 123 years.

We know that the worst of the summer heat is behind us, and the busy fall schedule of festivals and events has begun, when the Arizona State Fair finally opens its gates this Friday. It's almost time for rides, food, livestock, exhibit halls, and concerts! Don't miss out on all the fun at the Arizona State Fair. Every year there are new attractions and rides, and 2007 is no different. Be sure to check out the concert schedule -- Gretchen Wilson, Daughtry, Rhianna, Steve Miller Band and more, all free with your Fair admission. Guess who's providing the entertainment on Halloween? C'mon, you know who it has to be....

About that photo on the left -- if you are on the South Beach diet, please slowly back away from your computer screen. Yes, that is deep fried cheesecake on a stick! My favorite fair food, though, has to be the spuds.

Wow Judy!
And I thought Ohio had the monopoly on fried food favorites. That cheescake just might be worth a trip to Phoenix.
