Phoenix Holiday Gift Idea #19: Golf Stuff

Wednesday November 28, 2007
We continue our countdown of 25 ideas for gifts that say "Arizona."

You don't have to go far to find a golf course in the Valley of the Sun. If the man, woman, or junior on your gift list this year enjoys getting outside and hitting around that little white ball, I have several ideas for you. On the higher priced side, a Ping Wedge or Ping G5i Putter (you know that Ping is a Phoenix company, right?) might be what they are longing for, or other Ping Clubs, bags, and accessories. If they have all the clubs they need, maybe they need more golf fun off the course. How about a golf game or puzzle, like Monopoly--Golf Signature Holes Edition? An Impossible Tee Time Puzzle might also do the trick; it's a jigsaw puzzle with no borders and extra pieces! If you want your golfer to always know what time it is (time for golf, of course) I have a variety of golf clocks to recommend. Finally, if your golf friend is a single male, the best gift might be a date with pro golfer Natalie Gulbis, who played her college golf at University of Arizona, but I can't help you with that gift--sorry!

My 25 gift ideas for people who love Phoenix and live in Phoenix began on November 22. If you missed any, you can find them by starting on November 20 in the blog archives and clicking on each today up until today. Then you'll be up to date!
