West of Phoenix There's Something Wild
Monday December 17, 2007
Flamingos and baby white alligators, deer and goats, tarantulas and pythons, bats and parrots, laughing dogs and sleeping sloths.
Those are just some of the wild critters that I saw last night when I dropped in at Wildlife World Zoo for their holiday lights display, Wild Winter Nights. And those were the real animals, not the ones made from lights! Yes, even though it is dark out there, there are plenty of live animals to be seen, coupled with the fun holiday lights in animal shapes and on the trees and buildings. I recommend Wild Winter Nights for an evening out, whether it's a date night or a family night, or even if you are on your own. Here are some photos of what you'll see there. Bundle up--it gets cold out there!
