Arizona Cardinals Welcome Home Rally

With big trophy or without, you can welcome the Arizona Cardinals football team when they arrive home from Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida at Sky Harbor International Airport on Monday. Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, members of the Glendale City Council, Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill, Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt, and the Arizona Cardinals players, cheerleaders and Big Red the mascot are scheduled to appear. Did you know that Sky Harbor has a mascot, too? Yes, Amelia the Airplane will be there.

The rally will take place on Monday February 2, 2009 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Parking opens at 1 p.m. on Buckeye Road, one block east of 24th Street. The rally entrance opens at 2 p.m. Just park in the lot and walk across the street to the rally. Carpooling is recommended since parking is limited.

Then grab some dinner and make your way over to Tempe Marketplace for another welcome home party for the Cards, sponsored by FSN Arizona.
