In a game muddled with mistakes and penalties, the Arizona Cardinals didn't really show their capabilities until the last quarter of the game with an encouraging drive that left them 6 points behind with more than 7 minutes left to play. Then the Cardinals took the lead for the first time in the game, only to allow a touchdown by the Steelers with less than a minute to go.

Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Arizona Cardinals 23.

The season is over for the Arizona Cardinals, but it was great to have a local team compete for a championship. Well done, Cardinals. Here are some highlight photos from Super Bowl XLIII. Don't forget that our Cardinals deserve a big welcome home tomorrow, and you can be there.

It looked pretty bad for the Cards for a while, but that last quarter was a wild ride. At least they made a game of it.
