Phoenix Friday Cool Spot: Arizona Science Center
Every summer the Arizona Science Center makes sure that we have something extra special to see and do there, and this year is no exception. LEGO Castle Adventure transports guests to a LEGO kingdom where they can become LEGO Master Builders. In LEGO Castle Adventure, visitors can construct castles, learn about real-world castles and their building secrets, test your fortress designs with a catapult, spot a dragon, joust with a friend in full costume, make a stained glass window, create your family crest and more. The LEGO Castle Adventure is free with your regular admission to the Arizona Science Center and will be here through September 7, 2009.
That's just one of the many interactive exhibits you'll find at the Arizona Science Center, my Phoenix Friday Cool Spot for this week. Here's how you get there.
I learned this today at the Arizona Science Center web site: "The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket."
