The Arizona Historical Society Museum, the principal museum in the Phoenix metropolitan area covering the history Arizona, presents Sandra Day O'Connor - A Citizen for All Seasons.

The exhibition traces the life of the woman who for more than two decades was the most powerful woman in America. The exhibit includes artifacts, photographs, documents, and video that record O'Connor's youth, education, civic and legal career, and development into a national icon for women's achievement as the first female Justice on the United States Supreme Court. It also presents O'Connor's current efforts to seek bipartisan consensus on important social and political issues in Arizona. The exhibit opens Thursday, October 22, 2009. The museum is located at 1300 N. College Avenue in Tempe at Papago Park. Adults: $5; Ages 12-18 and 60+: $4; 11 and younger are free. Free admission the first Saturday of the month.
