Avondale dogs and their owners are invited to a party to experience the new dog exercise area at the dog park at Avondale Friendship Park. Four-legged friends can run and play on new agility equipment that has been donated by Nutro Dog Supplies Company. There will be free dog obedience training demos and dog agility demonstrations on the new equipment. Special guests include the newest Avondale Police K-9 team, and Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Therapy Dog teams. Free dog treats will be handed out while supplies last, and pet owners will have a chance to win prizes.
