File Your Arizona Taxes

By April 10, 2012

Follow me on:

For Arizona residents, if you are Single, Married Filing Separately or Head of Household and your Arizona Adjusted Gross Income is at least $5,500 or your Gross Income is at least $15,000 you must file a tax return in Arizona. If you are Married Filing Jointly and your Arizona Adjusted Gross Income is at least $11,000 or your Gross Income is at least $15,000 you must file.

Gross income is easy to figure out. That's all the income you received during the year from wages, investments, interest, etc. When you file your Federal tax return, you'll use your Federal Adjusted Gross Income (gross income less deductions) to determine your Arizona Adjusted Gross Income.

Personal income tax returns for the 2011 year are due to be mailed no later than next Tuesday, April 17, 2012 -- we got a couple of extra days this year. Check out the tax filing deadlines, find tax forms, find mailing addresses for your returns, get eFile information, and learn how to file an extension.

Don't procrastinate any longer -- just get it done!
