Are billionaires to be admired or derided? America's 400 richest individuals are certainly part of the "1%," but I think few who critique the richest members of our society would pass up an opportunity for huge net worth positions for themselves and their families.
This week Forbes came out with an updated list of the richest people in the United States. Several of Arizona's billionaires are self-made men who worked hard and created their wealth from billboards and tires and web hosting. Most our state's billionaires tend to be low key and private people. None are women. You'll recognize some of the names, for most are not new to this list.
