El Día de los Muertos, or, in English, Day of the Dead, is a ritual practiced in Latin America and many parts of the United States. This includes Arizona, where we have large population of people of Latino descent. It is a celebration of ancestors who have died. On El Día de los Muertos, family members take the opportunity to honor their deceased love ones with offerings and prayers.
