I know that you have been eagerly awaiting the news, and it has finally arrived. The Social Security Administration has finally published the most popular baby names for 2003.

Just because I'm certain that you were wondering, the name Judith (my name) only came in 633rd this year. Huh. Interestingly enough, the following girl's baby names were ALL more popular than my lovely name: India, Paris, Cheyenne, Eden, Kenya, America, and Brooklyn. Now, these are all nice places, but c'mon! Will people start naming their children Podunk? or Saskatchewan? I was born in the borough of Brooklyn, but I wouldn't want to be named after it. [Side note: I checked, and thankfully the names Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, or da Bronx are not yet in the top 1000 baby names.]
