Still Time For Corteo in Scottsdale
Monday March 27, 2006
Cirque du Soleil (pronounced surk doo so lay) extended their run of Corteo (you can guess how that's pronounced!) through April 9, 2006. The Grand Chapiteau at WestWorld in North Scottsdale is the place. I went last week, and loved it. I did a quick check of online tickets, and there are still great seats available for prime shows. Corteo is more like a circus than the other Cirque du Soleil performances I've attended--no live animals, but lots of acrobatics. You'll see more kids than at some Cirque du Soleil shows, and the guys will stay awake for the entire show!
My tip for seeing Corteo: although all seats are good, stick with the ones that are in the four large center sections, two on each side of the circular stage. The stage is large, so my preference is seats at least 4 rows back from the stage. Kudos to Cirque for more leg room this year!
