Find a Farmers' Market

Tuesday October 2, 2007
Need fruits and vegetables? As our communities grow, the farmers' markets around town continue to proliferate. The growers who participate in our Phoenix area farmers' markets offer mostly organic and pesticide free produce. They are local farmers, and the produce is vine-ripe, highly nutritious and tasty.

In addition to produce, farmers' markets usually feature value added locally made food items such as jams & jellies, salsas, dips, baked goods of all kinds, herbs and handcrafts.

Now that the temperatures are becoming more reasonable, the farmers' markets that are only seasonal are starting to open up. I've arranged them by day of the week, so you can easily find a farmers' market near you on the day that you can visit.
