Every large city has adult entertainment, and Phoenix is no exception. Adult sex shops and adult book stores are not just for older male sexual deviants, as the stereotype 'the dirty old man' would suggest. Couples, women and people of all legal ages and proclivities visit adult stores, for gifts, for novelties, and to peruse materials that help them have fun with sex and increase sexual satisfaction. Just about all of them offer adult videos and DVDs, adult toys, adult books and other sex novelties. Here is a listing of adult shops in the greater Phoenix area. Book Cellar

Three locations (third location is called Pleasure World). Open 22 hours, closes for cleaning from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. All locations have on-site viewing booths. Book Store, The

This store is a newsstand with an adult store in the back. You must be 18 to get into the adult store portion. Used and new books and magazines, trading cards. Call for hours. Location: 4230 N. 7th Avenue in Phoenix (602-279-3910).

Castle Megastore

Fascinations

Five locations in the greater Phoenix area. They also sell lingerie. They are open 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., Mondays through Saturdays, and noon to midnight on Sundays. Night Life Video & Boutique
