- Let the computer select the numbers randomly. This is called a Quick Pick.
- Choose your own numbers and mark them on the selection slip. Pick one or two sets of three-digit numbers (000 through 999). Then choose how you want to play your numbers: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair or Back Pair. The play type you choose determines the amount you win.
What do these terms mean?
Straight means 3 numbers in the exact order drawn.Box means 3 numbers in any order. Box play has two options: 3-way, where 2 numbers selected are the same, and 6-way where 3 different numbers are selected.
Straight/Box means 3 numbers in either exact or any order, but you win more if the numbers are drawn in the exact order.
Front Pair means the first 2 numbers in the exact order.
Back Pair means last 2 numbers in the exact order.
You can play the same numbers (or Quick Picks) up to 12 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the retailer at the time of purchase or mark the appropriate box on your selection slip.
