Every year the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society brings the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show to the Old Pueblo. This nationally acclaimed show is held for four days starting on the second Thursday of February, at the Tucson Convention Center. In addition to the exhibits/sales displays, there are daily seminars, activities for children and daily door prizes.

Where is the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show?

The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is held at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church, Phone 520-791-4101. Tickets may be purchased at the Church Street and Granada Street entrances.

What are the dates for the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show?

February 12 through 15, 2009. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday - Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

How do I get to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show from Phoenix?

Take I-10 east. From I-10 exit at the Congress/Broadway exit and travel east on Broadway approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on Church. The Tucson Convention Center is on the right side immediately past the pedestrian bridge.

How much does it cost to get in?

Admission: $9.25. Children 14 years old and under accompanied by a paying adult are free. Tickets may be purchased at the Tucson Convention Center on the days of the show. Advance tickets may be purchased in mid-January at the Tucson Convention Center box office.

Saturday, February 14, 2009 is "Military Appreciation Day" and all active and retired military and their dependents with military ID are admitted free of charge.
