Family Film Festival
The Maricopa Partnership for Arts and Culture is sponsoring a series of films for families that are either free, or if the venue typically has an admission charge, the film is free with paid admission. Glendale, Tempe and Phoenix. All films are kid-friendly. A variety of films, suitable for ages 2 -18 are offered.

Friday Flicks
The Town of Buckeye offers free movies. Children 9 years and under must be accompanied by an adult for PG rated movies. Ford Ironman Triathlon
Arizona's Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike and a complete marathon (26.2 miles). Many vantage points for spectators to view the races, sports expo. Tempe.

Food and wine samplings provided by 20 of the Valley's finest local restaurants, resort kitchens and national wineries. The event will include live musical entertainment. 21 and older only. $60 in advance, $70 at the door. Phoenix.

Friday Night Bull Riding
Rawhide, Wild Horse Pass. 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. $6 for adults, $3 for kids ages 3 to 12, under 3 are free. Tickets are good for both shows. Children can sign up for sheep and calf riding for a nominal charge.

These free concerts take place at the Freestone Park amphitheater, located by the lake in Freestone Park (Lindsay and Juniper roads) in Gilbert. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Slides, inflatables, climbing wall, carnival game corral, a trackless train and two stage areas of live performances. Public vehicle display including a fire truck, police and streets vehicles. Glendale Concerts in the Park
