    The Desert Botanical Garden glows in the evenings with thousands of luminarias lining the paths.

  • Dogathon

  • Downtown Chandler Art Walk
    Visit more than 40 artisans set up along the streets in front of the unique shops and cafes of Historic Downtown Chandler. Free.

  • Downtown Phoenix Loft & Home Tour
    Tour several distinct, newly developed loft/condo units and models located in and around Copper Square in Downtown Phoenix. There is a fee for tickets. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free DASH shuttles will be circulating the tour route.

    Science-related activities for teachers and families. People ages 5 and up will learn about the universe, solar system and planets, volcanoes, earthquakes, minerals and fossils.   • Ford Ironman Triathlon
    Arizona's Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike and a complete marathon (26.2 miles). Many vantage points for spectators to view the races, sports expo. Tempe.

  • Friday Night Bull Riding

    Glendale's kick-off to the holiday season. A million lights, music, fireworks, crafts, train rides, Santa and more.

  • Glendale's Live at the Library

  • Great Cajun Cook-Off
    Features cooks and restaurants competing for the title of “Best in the West” gumbo and jambalaya. Competitors will bring their gumbo/jambalaya to the event already prepared and ready to serve in “tastes”. Live music, children's activities. Heritage Park, Phoenix. All Proceeds benefit the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity and local scholarship program. Heritage & Science Park, Phoenix.

  • Heard Museum Spanish Market
    Nearly 70 of the Southwest's best Hispanic artists will show and sell their work at the annual Heard Museum Spanish Market. Artwork includes an array of santos, furniture, jewelry, tilework, glitter art, tinwork, paintings, carvings, pottery and more. Admission is free. Heard Museum, Phoenix.

  • Las Noches de Las Luminarias

    Free outdoor concerts at the Wigwam Resort Front Lawn, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Litchfield Park Festival of the Arts
    Fine arts & crafts, live musical performances, festival fare and wine tasting. Located next in the heart of the historic Wigwam Resort, this unique outdoor festival features an Artisan's Village filled with over 300 Fine Arts and Crafts booths. Artist demonstrations, International food court, huge indoor Book and Antique sale and children's activities.
