  • Jazz 'n the Plaza
    Jazz ‘N the Plaza is a a fall jazz concert series in partnership with Smooth Jazz 95.5 KYOT. It features a new jazz performance each week. Chairs and lawn seating are available, but guests are encouraged to bring stadium cushions and blankets.   • Sunday Fall Outdoor Concerts
    Mesa Arts Center sponsors free concerts on the first Sunday of the month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m in the Wayne and Kathye Brown Sculpture Courtyard. Bring a snack and enjoy live music in a great setting.

  • Tempe Fall Festival of the Arts
    If you didn't go in the Spring (or even if you did) you don't want to miss this wonderful street fair in downtown Tempe. The annual arts and crafts festival is held on Mill Avenue. More than 600 artists exhibit wonderful works of wood, pottery, jewelry, oil paintings and more. Live entertainment also fills the street.

  • Thursdays on Mill
    Local musicians performing on the streets for Music on Mill. Market on Mill involves an eclectic mix of area businesses, growers, artisans, restaurants and chefs and local musicians. MADCAP Theaters hosts musical entertainment and films. Mill Avenue District, Tempe from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Wags for Wishes-Arizona
    The event features many different dog-related competitions and activities open to the public, all to raise money for Make-A-Wish. The event promotes responsible dog ownership and looks to introduce the public to the many ways they can have fun with their four footed friends. Admission is $5 per day. Sahuaro Ranch Park, Glendale.

  • Winter Solstice
    Through the magic of Irish mythology, special visitors from afar will help celebrate Solstice, which is considered the oldest celebrated festival in the world. The special visitors are known as the ‘Swans from Pleiades’. The customary Irish dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m. Call for dinner reservations 602-258-0109. Irish Cultural Center, Phoenix.
