Halloween Spooktacular
Downtown Library Courtyard, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave., Chandler, Arizona

An evening of safe family fun. Food, games, arts and crafts, costume contests, souvenir photos, and a Haunted House. Everyone is welcome to wear a costume and enter the costume contest and parade.
In 2009: Friday, October 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Howl-O-Ween
Phoenix Zoo
Experiences sure to terrify those, preferably 8 years and older, looking for a good scare: find the mysterious creature haunting the zoo, spooky train ride, ride the "Scare"-ousel, ghost storytelling, Pirates of the "Scare"-ibbean, find out what's in the coffin dropped off in the graveyard by the funeral carriage. DJ music. Fees apply.
In 2009: Friday and Saturday, October 30 & 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Halloween Spooktacular Carnival
Downtown Buckeye
Buckeye, AZ
All kinds of goulish fun. Creepy carnival games, crazy car rides, petting zoo, face painting, mad bingo, haunted “Maze of Mayhem”. Bring a finished jack-o-lantern for a carving contest at 7 p.m. Costume contest begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are 50¢ each. Games and food are 1 - 6 tickets each. Proceeds will benefit local non-profits.
In 2009: October 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Downtown Phoenix Zombie Walk
Heritage Square
People dress up as zombies, and shambled around downtown Phoenix.
In 2009: October 30 at 5:30 p.m.

Family Halloween Adventure
Escalante Community Center, 2150 E. Orange Street, Tempe
Eerie mansion, music, crafts, haunted house, and games provide a night of fun, fright, and frolic. Admission can be purchased on the night of event or can be pre-purchased starting October 20th at the Escalante Community Center for $5. Call 480-350-5831.

Halloween Spooktacular
National Comedy Theatre, Mesa
Improv featuring games so spooky and hilarious they are only performed once a year! $12 per adult and $10 for students and seniors. Come in costume for $2 off admission and a chance to win a prize package of free tickets to the National Comedy Theatre. Five hilarious Spooktaculars to choose from: October 30th at 7:30 & 9:45 p.m. or Saturday October 31st at 7:30 & 9:45 p.m. for all-ages; Saturday October 31st at 11:45 p.m. for the Spooktacular at Midnight.
In 2009: Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31.

Halloween Monster Bash & Balloon Illumination
Peoria Sports Complex

Parade of Costumes Contest, carnival games, inflatable activities, Mad Science, make-n-take crafts, story-time, puppet shows, entertainment. Some activities require a minimal fee. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Free admission with canned food to help benefit the St. Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance.

Take a trip through the Haunted Forest, play interactive games for both kids and adults, participate in the costume parade, enter into costume and pumpkin-carving competitions, dog costume contest and fireworks. Free admission.

GlendOberfest
Historic Sahuaro Ranch, Glendale, Arizona
Carnival-style games, on-site trick or treating, Hallowympics parade, live entertainment, EggHaunt and the “Sinister Sinema” haunted house presented by ASU at the West Campus. Everyone is encouraged to dress up. Bring your unfinished jack-o’-lantern for the pumpkin decorating contest. Free admission.
In 2009: Saturday, October 31 from 5 to 10 p.m.
