Queen Creek Trunk or Treat

People sign up to host and decorate a trunk. Children trick-or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk on “Trunk or Treat Street” to get their bags filled with goodies. The Town of Queen Creek provides all the candy. Other activities include the Bone Garden, Little Goblin Zone (ages 4 and under), Stage Fright, Phantom Fun House and the ‘Howl’oween Canine Costume Contest.

Tempe's Annual Family Halloween Carnival
Kiwanis Park, 6005 S. All-America Way
Tempe, Arizona
Event highlights include costume contests for all ages, carnival games, food, and entertainment.

Cave Creek Wicked
Throughout Downtown Cave Creek
Family activities include Haunted Houses, children and pet costume parades, a dunk tank, horse costume contest, Pumpkin carving, Mummy wrapping contest, Psychic readings and Thriller street dances. Cruise the streets of Cave Creek stopping at popular locations such as Los Mesquite Taqueria, Cave Creek Coffee Company & C4 Martini & Wine Bar, Buffalo Chip, Harolds and the Hideaway for chances to win cash prizes for best costume, most creative, sexiest, etc. at each location.
In 2009: Saturday, October 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (costume contests and restaurant offerings); noon to 8 p.m. (family activities)

Malloween
The District at Desert Ridge Marketplace
Families can trick or treat from store to store, with music and prizes at Radio Disney's annual Malloween celebration. Dress in your Halloween best and join in the fun with this not-so-spooky and a-little-bit-kooky Halloween tradition.
In 2009: Saturday, October 31 from noon to 3 p.m.

Costume Contest at the Arizona Irish Festival
Margaret T. Hance (Deck) Park, Phoenix.
The AZ Irish Festival falls on Halloween this year. Children (of all ages!) are welcome to wear Halloween costumes in honor of the holiday that once marked the end of summer for the ancient Celts. Kids 12 and under in costume admitted free. A Halloween costume contest will occur late afternoon: best-dressed of the day, most creative costume, scariest costume and "Best” in age group categories of 6 & under and 7-12. Trick-or-treat in the Wee Folk area.
