The Pleasure Feast is a two hour meal and show, where you'll be pampered with a six course meal, lively (and sometimes raunchy) entertainment, and receive souvenirs of the event. Every day of the Festival there are two Pleasure Feasts, one at 11 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. Read my review of the 2009 Pleasure Feast.

Arizona Renaissance Festival Pleasure Feast Tips

  • The ticket price for the Pleasure Feast is steep, but don't forget that it includes admission to the Arizona Renaissance Festival, entertainment, and souvenirs. The food is great, and, spread out over two hours; you'll be able to eat most of it!
  • I have rarely seen children at this event. The entertainment can be crude and raunchy, and is probably unsuitable for kids (or even prudish adults). There is no discounted price or special meal for children.
  • The seats at the Pleasure Feast have no arms or backs, and space can be tight.
  • Seats are assigned. The Pleasure Feast is not a dining experience where you'll be able to have quiet confidential chit chat with your dining partner, while looking longingly into each other's eyes. You'll be sitting side by side, and next to other Feasters.
  • About every third person at the Pleasure Feast will have to straddle a table leg at their assigned seat.
  • Beer and wine are included.
  • Reservations in advance are strongly recommended. Seating is limited. It is sometimes possible to walk up to the Pleasure Feast window and get tickets for that day but don't count on it.
  • If you have special dietary needs, they must know about them in advance. They may not be able to honor walk-ups with special meal requests.
  • Unlike past years, we were not offered containers to take leftovers home.
  • Bring cash. Tips are not included in the price of the Pleasure Feast, and tipping, just as if you were at a restaurant, is appropriate if the service is good (which it will be).
  • If you intend to drink a lot of wine or beer (it flows pretty freely) I'd sign up for the early meal so that you have plenty of time to walk it off at the Faire before you go to your car. A designated driver is a good idea.
  • Come to the Pleasure Feast with an open mind, a mood for silliness, a willingness to participate, and an appetite.
