Some people find it difficult to get into the holiday spirit when they live in the desert Southwest. Where's the snow? Tree lightings, parades, face painting, photos with Santa--these are wonderful holiday activities. But whether your family participates in Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa festivities, why don't you try adding a bit of culture to your Arizona holiday celebrations? You can do just that by taking in a concert, the symphony, the theatre or another cultural activity.

Every year at this time the arts provide fantastic opportunities for adding some music and culture to the enjoyment of the holiday season. The theatres, concerts, symphony, and ballet will put you in the spirit of the season with both professional and local talent, and because they are special holiday engagements, they are suitable for the entire family. These shows are presented in date order. Get dressed up, go out to eat and take in the show!
