Scottsdale Holiday Harmony Celebration
Scottsdale’s annual holiday tree-lighting celebration takes place from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. This free, family-friendly festival features live performances, interactive booths and lots more -- including a visit from Santa, music, and even snow, so bring your coats and mittens! The event is capped off by the Mayor's tree-lighting at 6:15 p.m. Scottsdale on the Civic Center Mall. For more information call 480-312-0217.In 2009: December 5
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park Holiday Lights
Take a train ride through more than 100,000 lights and featuring a variety of holiday displays turning the Railroad Park into a winter wonderland. Opening night festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. and includes a tree lighting ceremony, entertainment and a visit from Santa. Santa will be at the park through December 23rd. Train rides are $2 and carousel rides are $1 each with children under three riding free with a paying adult. The park is located at 7301 E. Indian Bend Road.In 2009: December 11 - January 2 (excluding Dec. 24, 25, 31) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
