Peoria Skate Park

  • Rio Vista Skatepark
    The Rio Vista Skatepark is located at 8877 W. Thunderbird Road in Peoria, 1/4 mi W. of Loop 101 and Thunderbird. It is a free public skatepark. For more information call (623) 773-7137.

Phoenix Skate Parks

  • Desert West Skateboard Plaza
    The Desert West Skateboard Plaza is located at 6602 W. Encanto Blvd. in Phoenix. It is a free public skate park. For more information call 602-495-3700.

  • Paradise Valley Skate Park
    The Paradise Valley Skate Park is located at 17402 N. 40th St. in Phoenix. It is a free public skate park. For more information call 602-495-3777.

  • Pecos Park Skate Park
    The Pecos Park Skate Park is located at 17010 S. 48th Street (48th Street and Pecos Parkway; enter from 48th St. via Chandler Boulevard). It is a free public skate park. For more information call 602-262-6111.


  • The Hermoso Park Skate Plaza is located at 17402 N. 40th St. in Phoenix. It is a free public skatepark. For more information call 602-495-3777.

Glendale Skate Parks

  • Foothills Sk8 Court Plaza
    Located in the Foothills Park at 57th Avenue and Union Hills Road. It is a free public skate park. Call for information 623-930-2820.

  • X-Court
    Located at 83rd Avenue just north of Bethany Home Road at the Western Area Regional Park. This is a 26,000 square-foot, concrete bikes, boards and blades court with three major components: bowls, transitions and street elements. Inside the X-Court facility is a full-service proshop and concession building Call for information 623-930-2820.

Scottsdale Skate Parks

  • The Wedge at Eldorado Park
    Located in Scottsdale at 2311 N. Miller Road. It is a free public skate park. Call for information 480-312-2483.

  • Skate Park at McDowell Mountain Ranch Park
    Located in Scottsdale at 15525 N. Thompson Peak Parkway (Thompson Peak Parkway & McDowell Mountain Ranch Road). The 16,000 square foot skate park features the city’s only “street course” and will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The facility is fenced, lighted and free. BMX bikes are not permitted in the skate park.

Tempe Skate Parks

  • Tempe Sports Complex Skatepark
    The Tempe Sports Complex Skatepark is at 8403 S. Hardy Drive near Warner Road in Tempe. It is a free public skate park.
Maybe you aren't looking for a true skate park, but you just want a great local, scenic place to take a casual skate. All levels of skaters can find a place here, with addresses and descriptions, of the best places around town to skate, compliments of the Arizona Inline Skating Association.
