Most of the year is considered 'high season' in the Phoenix area. The weather is beautiful for seven or eight months of the year of the year and the Southwest desert environment, combined with the benefits of big city life and entertainment, makes Phoenix and Scottsdale popular destinations. That means that from September through May you can pretty much expect to NOT find any bargains in town. These are fine hotels, but they may not have as many golf courses, as many pools or as many upscale restaurants on property as some of the higher-end resorts. So what? You'll have a car, won't you?
