Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
Spring Training Stadium Map For the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies
In 2010 the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies both played their last Spring Training Baseball seasons in Tucson, Arizona and moved, in 2011, to a new stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is now the official Spring Training Baseball home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. The Cactus League stadium, training facilities and clubhouses at Salt River Fields are located on the west side of the Loop 101 at Indian Bend Road. Salt River Fields is actually located on Native American land, on the Salt-River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation. The Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League also play there. When no baseball or special events are taking place, you can take a tour of the stadium.
I've been to many baseball games and events at Salt River Fields, so you might want to read some of my tips about the the stadium before you buy tickets. Keep in mind that there is usually a charge to park here.
