The Safeway International LPGA Golf Tournament was held each Spring in Apache Junction at the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club. In 2009 that tournament was renamed the Phoenix LPGA International and moved to Papago Golf Course in Phoenix.

Directions to Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club:
Take Interstate 60 (Superstition Freeway) and go east. You can access I-60 from the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway). As the divided highway ends, stay on that road. It's still I-60. Continue to drive east. There will be plenty of signage directing you to public parking areas for the Safeway International LPGA Golf Tournament. Shuttles will take you to the golf course.
