The day’s events kick off at 10 a.m. at the Palm Island Family Aquatics Park for a Family Swim Day until 2 p.m. Activities and games will be held throughout the day of Open Swim. Relay races, contests, entertainment, etc. will take place at the Paul Mason Sportsplex (2525 N. Pinal Ave.) beginning at 7 p.m. The Red, White and Blue Family Parade with decorated bikes, scooters, kids and even dogs starts at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will start at approximately 9 p.m.What does it cost?
Admission fees for the Family Swim Day are reduced to $1 for adults and 50¢ for children 17 and under. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The activities and events at Rodeo Park are free. Free parking.What else do I need to know?
Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets. No alcohol. Pets on leashes are allowed. Coolers are permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stand.
