There is a new location for 2009. It will be held at Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 S. Ballpark Way. Here is a map to Goodyear Ballpark.

When is it?

Saturday, July 4th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

What will happen?

The Kids Zone will feature an expanded area with water rides on the third base concourse, bouncers and other inflatable fun on the first base concourse, and more. Unlimited-ride wristbands are available for $10, or five rides for $5. F-16 flyover. Enjoy live R&B, jazz, blues, soul, and funk with headliner Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns, along with special guests Capt'n Henry & the Rum Runners. George Foster, Cincinnati Reds 1977 MVP, will sign autographs ($20 fee includes autographed baseball or 8x10" photo). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Cancer Treatment Centers of America. The APS Fireworks Spectacular in Goodyear is a 25-minute show set to popular and patriotic music, and begins at 9:35 p.m.

What does it cost?

Admission is free. There is a charge for rides and activities. Parking is free around the ballpark and at Desert Edge High School (including a free shuttle to the ballpark and back).

What else do I need to know?

Food and beverages are available for purchase. One plastic factory-sealed bottle of water per person is permitted. Small soft-sided coolers with single-serving snack items (pre-packaged and factory-sealed only) and juice boxes are allowed. No lawn chairs, hard or large coolers, glass, cans, alcohol, skates, skateboards or pets are permitted in the ballpark. The ballpark is a nonsmoking facility.

Goodyear Ballpark Luxury Suites may be rented for this event. They are air conditioned and feature party facilities for groups of 15 people. Call 623-882-3120 for pricing and reservations for the Suites.
