The Arizona bark scorpion is not the only scorpion in Phoenix. The giant desert hairy scorpion is also found in Arizona's deserts.

The giant desert hairy scorpion is four to six inches long and is the largest scorpion in North America. It is venomous, but its sting is not as dangerous as the bark scorpion's. Here you can see the side view, as well as the view from overhead.
