On the First Friday of every month, nearly 100 downtown Phoenix art galleries and art spaces open their doors to the browsing public. It's called First Friday.
Burton Barr Central Library used to be the central shuttle point for First Friday. That changed to Phoenix Art Museum in February 2009. You can still park for free at the library and walk to the East Route from there.
