Spring Training Baseball comes to the Phoenix area during March each year, when 15 of the 30 teams of Major League Baseball come to Arizona to participate in Cactus League competition. In previous years some of the teams played in Tucson, but beginning in 2011 all the teams play at stadiums in Greater Phoenix.
The temperatures in March are usually very pleasant, allowing people to enjoy the games in short sleeves (if your seats are in the sun), and sunscreen is a must!
