The Arizona Jazz Festival is a smooth jazz spectacular, featuring several days of appearances by nationally and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians. This festival was originally known as the Desert Ridge Jazz Festival, and held at a resort in North Phoenix. In 2012, it has a new name and a new venue.

Where is it?
The jazz festival takes place outdoors at The Wigwam. That's in Litchfield Park in the southwest part of the Valley. Here is a map and directions to downtown Litchfield Park. Parking will be available at the resort, within walking distance from the event.How do I get tickets and how much are they?
Tickets are available in advance online. Tickets start at $35 for single day General Admission. Various ticket packages are offered. You may also purchase tickets at the door.Are discounts to the Arizona Jazz Festival available?
Not that I know of.I am coming in from out of town. Where should I stay?
If you can, staying at The Wigwam is the most convenient so you can take breaks from the event and head to your room for a while. Concert packages are offered for each festival, but they usually sell out. Otherwise, you can check at these nearby hotels.The Wigwam is about 27 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The METRO Light Rail system does not go to Litchfield Park.
What else should I know?
No lawn seating, no chairs permitted. No pets allowed. This is an adult environment; there are no children's activities here. VIP seating packages, including pit seats, are offered. This concert takes place outdoors, so make sure that during the day you bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. You might need a jacket in the evening. This is a rain or shine event.
