The history and the spirit of the cowboy and the old west comes alive at the National Festival of the West. It is a celebration of all things Western, past and present.
When is the National Festival of the West?
March 21 - 24, 2013 with times as follows:Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. plus concert after festival close
Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. plus concert after festival close
Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ticket prices at the gate on the day of the event are: Adult: $16 General AdmissionChildren 5 - 12: $10
Children 4 and under: free
Two-Day Pass: $27
Four-Day Pass: $52
Saturday Night Concert: Additional $35 General Admission
Chuck Wagon Meal (Thursday, Friday or Saturday): $10 for one day (until sold out)
You may purchase your tickets in advance online. The prices are somewhat lower than tickets purchased at the gate, but additional fees will apply.
Are there discounts available?
- On Thursday seniors (65 and older) and military with ID are admitted for $8 each.- On Sunday seniors (65 and older) and military with ID are admitted for $12 each.
What else should I know?
About 200 exhibitors will be on hand selling Western items including fine arts, crafts, furniture, clothing, collectibles and memorabilia. There is a Kids' Corral, wagon rides, dancing, gunfight reenactments, celebrities from Westerns, western cooking demos and classes, a Western Music jamboree and a Chuck Wagon Cook-off. On Friday night there is a concert, included with general admission. On Friday night the Herndon Brothers will perform, and that concert is included in your ticket price.
