Almost Famous Film Festival holds its annual 48 Hour Film Challenge on the 3rd weekend of February. Short films. There are also educational workshops for the independent filmmaking community at the event.

The Phoenix Jewish Film Festival presents a program of films to facilitate a stronger sense of identity and belonging within the local Jewish Community. and to reach out to the non-Jewish community to improve awareness and understanding of Jewish culture and experience.
