The cities of Avondale and Goodyear hosted a celebration on Feb. 25, 2012 to commemorate the Arizona’s 100th birthday. More than 80 entries participated in the Tale of Two Cities Parade, which took place on Thomas Road from Litchfield to Dysart Roads.

A Parade in the Southwest Valley
Who doesn't love a parade? If you do, you and the family have plenty of opportunities in the Phoenix area to attend one. This parade takes place in the southwest part of the Greater Phoenix area.
In the 2012 this float won an award in the category Best Appearance. It was a replica of the USS Arizona Replica, presented by the US Naval Sea Cadets.
