Hey, I wanted to fly in an F-16 or an F/A-18 Hornet. That won't happen here, but these aerobatic aircraft are designed to do everything that a fighter jet does--just not as fast. The Extra 300L is a reliable, certified, performance aircraft used by professional competitive aerobatic flyers. The aircraft used for your adventure are FAA certified +/- 10 Gs, but thankfully, you won't be taking them to the limit! For air combat programs, your Extra 300L has equipment and sound to give the Top Gun candidates a simulation of combat engagement.
You must be at least 15 years old to fly. You should be medically fit and prepared for your flight experience. What do I mean by prepared? No alcohol or drugs. If you take prescription drugs, make sure you understand how they might affect you on an extreme aerobatic flight. Water is provided. Height requirement: maximum 6 6 tall (contact Fighter Combat International if you are this height or more. You need to be cleared first). Weight requirement: maximum o250 lbs.
You are encouraged to bring guests to Fighter Combat International on the day of your Power Ride or Super Ride adventure. They can be with you during the ground school/safety briefing (12 years old and over only during this segment), as well as during the debriefing to watch the video of your flight experience. On a clear day, they might be able to see the plane, or smoke from the plane, as you perform your spins and dives.
Tip: Participants in the Air Combat programs will wear flight suits. People signing up for Power and Super Rides should wear comfortable, loose clothing, and flat, closed-toed shoes.
Tip: The facilities at Fighter Combat International are indoor, modern, air-conditioned and very comfortable for you and your guests. There is an outdoor deck where your guests can watch your plane take off and your high speed landing!
