Free Art Friday is an interactive art series that offers preschoolers and parents exposure to various forms of art in a relaxed atmosphere. The program is geared toward preschool age children, but all ages are welcome to attend. Participants create art, learn about music and movement and make new friends at the monthly sessions. There is a different theme at each program. Registration is not required.

Free Art Friday - The Details

When: Usually the third Friday of the month. Free Art Friday is not held in November or December because of the holidays.

What time: Come and go as you please between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Where: Edna Vihel Activity Center, 3340 S. Rural Road, Tempe. That's southwest of the intersection of Rural and Southern.

How much: Free Art Friday is free for everyone, Tempe residents and non-Tempe residents.
