Each January through April the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts sponsors a mini-festival in Scottsdale Civic Center Park on specific Sunday afternoons. You can listen to concerts presented by local musicians, shop at vendor booths, eat and drink, and tale a tour of the museum. Concerts cover a variety of styles -- jazz, blues, salsa, country, rock and roll, pop and more.

Where is Sunday A'Fair?

Scottsdale Civic Center Park, right next to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Here is a map with the address and directions, including trolley information. The closest parking garage to the event is the one just north of 2nd Street on Wells Fargo. Park on the north side of the lot and walk across the street into Civic Center Park in between the two restaurants, Pepin and AZ88. You are there! If that lot is full (it usually isn't on Sunday afternoons), you can also park in the Scottsdale Public Library lot on Drinkwater.

How much does it cost to get into Sunday A'Fair?

Nothing. Admission is free. Public parking in Scottsdale is also free.

What else happens during Sunday A'Fair?

The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is open and free from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday A'Fair days. At 1:30 p.m. on each scheduled day of Sunday A'Fair you can take a free, docent-led tour of the museum. At 3 p.m. you can take a free docent-led tour of the sculptures in the park.

What else should I know about Sunday A'Fair?

Bring folding chairs or a blanket for the lawn in front of the raised concert stage. There are a few picnic tables on the perimeter of the spectator area, and they are usually taken early. Of course, you can stand or sit on the grass.

You may bring your own food to Sunday A'Fair. Picnicking is popular here!

Children are welcome. Leashed pets are permitted for the outdoor activities.

Concerts and tours may be canceled in case of bad weather.
