Companies in the greater Phoenix area have competed for recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in the Valley each year since 2003. Those companies that employ at least 25 employees in the metro Phoenix area (Maricopa and Pinal counties) are invited each year to apply for consideration, but the employees of the company are the ones who provide the data that determines the winners.
The list of Best Places to Work in the Valley is based solely on the employee's survey results. In 2007 there were 90 Phoenix area companies recognized by being included in the Best Places to Work in the Valley list. According to BestCompaniesAZ, LLC, "All of these companies were recognized for creating an enjoyable corporate culture and work environment that fosters personal and professional growth for its employees."
The Phoenix area companies selected this year were grouped into 3 categories: large, medium, and small.
